2001 Johnson 150. I have a good flow of water coming out of my left exhaust port while idling or running high RPMs. This problem just started, but seems to be not causing me any problems(YET). Any ideas?

Re: Water in exhaust

When yoy say "left exhaust port" are you talking about the exhaust reliefs? They're the two rectangle shaped holes just below the power head, probably 1/2" high and 1-1/2" wide.

c/6
Hooty

They are the rectangular holes on the back of the engine, just below the cowling(sp)?
The "pee" hole is between the two. Thanks.

triton186,
When the motor is warmed up,and idling put your hand on each cylinder head.My guess is the side with the water has a stuck (open) thermostat, and will feel noticably cooler.
DHP
