Re: Fish finder - GPS

I found that I can get a Garmin GPSMAP 60C for about $30 more than the H2O (with $100 in rebates). This is in color. The only thing I am not certain about is the lake maps. I did find where Garmin has some detail maps much like the Lowrance does, and I found that the lakes I visit most even have speed zone information, vegitation information, etc., where the Lowrance maps didn't have that. So, I may seriously look at the Garmin handheld.

With that said, does anyone out there have this unit? How do you like it?

Just purchased the Lowrance 480, FF/GPS with WAAS. Would have liked the color 332C Lowrance, but a little pricey. Still need to install the 480.

FWIW, Lowrance and Eagle are made by the same company, LEI.
