Starting issues here is what i have tired what next

I did not winter rise my boat this last year just completely forgot and didnt put in any fuel preservative. So i charged the battery, emptied the fuel tanks put in 92 octane with fuel booster and cleaner for the injectors even though im nto sure if i have any. replace the cap and coil. checked the spark plugs all look clean and good. All it does is just turn over and over never gets close to firing. Any suggestions greatly appriciated and a huge thanks in advance<br />jeremy<br />Its a 1977 merc straight 6 165 i also tried pouring some gas in the carb and had no luck doing that either ...

Did you check for spark? Doesn't sound like you're getting any.

Ayuh,...... It sounds like you might want to See if the Ignition is working...........<br /><br />What did the Points look like,..???....<br /><br />Where Do you, or do you Not have Power..??...
