Re: Boat Names

The actuall pulled the name off of my boat before I bought it. But I have a daughter named Samantha and the boats name used to be Sam's Dream before I bought it..... I wonder if I should put it back on??

Re: Boat Names

It seems like I have the oldest, cheapest boat in the Illinois river,so I named it: The Crappie Jalopy.

Re: Boat Names

I'm trying to come up with a name for my new boat.

These are best I can do so far:
- Bite Me
- Documented American
- Small, but paid for.

Re: Boat Names

I think I am going to name my boat the same thing I named my 79 Bronco.
(Money Pit) :)

LOL I have a 79 Bronco (my other toy) and yes it is a money pit!!

But on the other hand last night on the lake my daughter wanted to name my boat

"Y GO HOME"

Re: Boat Names

I have a 17' searay w/150 - needless to say it's very fast. I seem to upset everyone including the harbormaster whenever I'm out - so I assumed the name "The Flying Kiester".

Re: Boat Names

Finally settled on a name.

My grandpa had a sailboat called the OpenGo.

So we're naming our runabout the OpenGo II.

Originality? Who needs it?

Re: Boat Names

i'm thinking about either naming my new boat "Paid In Full" or "War Trophy" because I just recently got back from Iraq and a boat was the main thing I wanted to buy when I got home.

My former boat (28' Century) was named "Here's to the Beers' " (our last name is Beers)
Our new boat, we haven't officially settled but it's either going to be
The Three Beers (me,wife,son) or
Here's 2 The Beers'

Re: Boat Names

"Uncle Lloyd's Slippery Nibbles"

a reference to a great uncle who had a boat that never really ran... and a play on words and reference to shot and the fishing we do on the boat..

Re: Boat Names

Some friends on the St. Lawrence had a wooden boat, but no trailer.. The wife was not fond of the boat since it was an expensive toy, but accepted that her husband and sons needed to purchase a trailer. Upon return from searching for a trailer the wife saw a new (to the family, but otherwise not so new) wooden boat being towed into the driveway...... Her first remark to the returning boatmen became the name of the new boat.. "ASNAWB" ........ "Aw S***, Not Another Wooden Boat".....

Re: Boat Names

The perfect name for my fishing boat is "Smells like Fish". And I think it keeps my wife from wanting to come out on busy weekends on the lake.....

Re: Boat Names

I think I will name mine "Over Budget". I'm sinking a lot of cash into restoring her, probably more than I should.
