1. Size are 4.80-12. Can I install these myself? If so, do you just use a car hoist?

2. Any name brand places install them for you like a Discount Tire?

3. Should I get just the tires or the tire with the wheel attached?

4. Can you point me to some decent ones at a good price or where to buy them?

It's a 14 foot boat. Any specifics I should know regarding tire weight, etc?

Thanks!

You can find these at WalMart unmounted or on rims 4.80 or 5.20 X 12 4 bolt and 5 bolt.
The 520 will hold up slightly better. These mount like any tubless tire.
These are also available at Harbor Freight but WallMart are far superior.

Probably a silly question, but will Walmart install the tires for a trailer?

regardless if the tires you get make sure they are for trailers. car tires are not proper for trailers.

Any place that does auto tires will do 12" trailer tires.

You may or may not need wheels.
They should be inspected after the tires are removed.

Depending on prices in your area, it may be almost as economical to buy the tires/wheels together...mounted and ready to go out the door. That's what I found in my area...so I picked up two new tires/wheels and kept the old for emergency/backup spares.

I'm debating that too. I called Walmart. They can install two new tires themselves for $36 a piece, or tires/ wheels for $64. Toss up.

Thanks

Farm & Fleet also will sell the trailer tires with rims. Not sure on the cost, but I know I get some good deals on my garden tractor tires.

Just make sure the weight load for each tire is more than half of the total weight of what your towing.

My tires have an 1,100 lbs rating per tire.
