Smart Craft Depth Gauge reads dashes???

I had my Eng Computer read and now after my Smart Craft Depth Gauge just shows dashes. I tried resetting the Smartcraft and still the same. Also I've tried to calibrate it still no help any ideas?

Did you do a Master Reset? Hold down both buttons at the same time? Also try Cal 2...

I have been fishing for Dashes for a long time, at what depth did you find them?

I have done both the quick reset and the Cal 2 and still nothing. The Cal 2 only lets you put in a + or - but doesn't do anything else? Am I doing something wrong on the Cal 2???

Check your transducer. Most of the times dashes mean there is a crappy signal.
