Serial number help

Can anyone help me out with the Serial number on my Merc? Its OC210135. Its got 9.9 stickers, but I don't know if its a true 9.9 or 15? Wanted to know the year too? It came on a 1989 boat, I am guessing its late 80's early 90's by the style. I looked on the web sites but I can't find anything that starts OC. Even the welch plug has C210135 on it.

It is a 1989 but you will have to contact the dealer to find out the HP.

It is a 15 hp, 1989.

We are mercury dealers with the ability to look up your serial number, And having that serial number will tell us you have a 1989 MERCURY 15 MH, engine model number 1015201GD.

Also the service manual part number from mercury marine that you may want to order some day is 90-827242R02, And it covers engines 6/8/9.9/10/15 HP's.
