1976 inline 6 150HP 1500 manual?

Well, I thought I had a service manual for my outboard but it ended up being for the newer V6's. Anyone know if this model has a pdf manual anywhere? If it's here in the sticky I sure can't find it. Thanks

No pdf for this manual... Try eBay or if you have the wallet for it, a Merc dealer. I have the manual and may one day sit down (all day ) and scan it... Maybe today.

Although free, that is NOT a factory manual... We have found many things wrong in there... Example: That book states primary pickup to be set at 5? BTDC. Factory manual states 5? ATDC...

Chris, The proper idle pickup timing for a distributor ignition inline six 1500 is 4-6*BTDC. The ATDC spec is for the V6s or maybe the ADI motors.

I was using that as an example, not necessarily specific to his engine...
