45 HP Mariner question

Hi fellas, I just bought a 87 Bass Tracker with a 45 Mariner on it. The guy said he thought it was a 92 model but I suspect it could be 87-92 model. Anyway, I was wondering what you guys think about this motor. Any problems to look out for etc.....

If its the 4 cylinder its a tried and true design and made by Merc, if its a 2 cylinder its a good engine but made by Yamaha and will be back in the 80's...
