Ok, so, living in Canada, I CANNOT FATHOM how the Red Green show stayed on the air so long...

I think I understand now....Just like Nickelback, Celine Dion, and Moosehead Beer, Canadians cannot stand it....But, somehow, our neighbours south of the border enjoy it....I can't read iBoats one day without a red green reference..

Ugh.

Who actually likes any of the above?

Lol, I used to hate Corner Gas, Mainky because I can't stand Brent Butt.. However, now that the show is off the Air, I love it....

TPB - The old ones, (read, low budget) were awesome. Boom mike guys helping with heists, show techs getting shot....Classic...

Don't know about the location, but I think it's the spirit he has that makes him so popular... lol, we all have some 'wild' ideas at times, just most of us don't make them public. That, and/or, he reminds us of some family member/neighbor and makes for some good entertainment. It's like sitting at the ramp just waiting to see what happens next :D

Yeah I learned this when I got to Toronto and saw TPB for the first time. I called my wife and told her about it she thought I was crazy. Instead of going out, I stayed in the hotel that night and watched the marathon! I was dying laughing.

Hey, don't knock Red Green. With a roll or 2 of duct tape and a 3 lb ball peen hammer BussStPoint will be back in his slightly mashed wheels shortly.

OMG I love Trailer Park Boys.

I like Red Green too but like all "sketch" comedy shows there's probably more losers than winners.

Problem is PS94, you are expecting Red Green to be a comedy...
when it is actually a Fantasy
Red Green lives the fantasy life we all would love.
He lives on the lake at a nice lodge, tinkers with gizmos and machines all day, has a social circle that entertains him, an understanding wife....

hang on.... that's my life.

keep your stick on the ice...

The Red Green Show is kind of like the flu; not everybody gets it.

I like Red Green and Nickleback, Moosehead is OK but I'd rather drink Molson or Labatts. Please take Celine back.
I also liked Bod and Doug Mckensie in The Great White North skits on SNL, espicially their version of the 12 days of Christmas.

G'day, eh! Like, those hosers Bob & Doug were from SCTV, not SNL.

When I grow up (yeah, right) I want to be Red Green!
