I am in need of some parts and I am not sure what the year of this motot is.

I beleave that number converts to a 1982.

OMCs 1980 & up are real easy to determine the model year.

Using the second and third last letters in the model number, see where they correspond with the word "INTRODUCES".

So in your case the letters are "CN", which matches up with "8" and "2".
