pontoon gates

where can I find a gate for my pontoon? Wanting to change my seating and add a gate to the back.

I would first start with the manufacturer. Next check with your local pontoon boat dealers. Also look at boat salvage yards.

On my Forester I moved one of the side gates to the back. There was a spacer the size of a gate, only without the gaps in that spot, so I just traded the 2. I have not missed the side gate, I can't even tell you for sure right now which one I took.

Adding a gate means cutting a rail, I would think about that for awhile, if you screw it up you may not be able to get a replacement rail and if you can they are pretty salty.

If you know what you want to do and are pretty sure it will work you could really use a gate form anybody as long as the height is right, just go to a ocal dealer and order one or find a salvage yard close.
