I have a 1994 120 horse Force and was just wondering about how many RPM's it should turn at WOT. I know thats probly a loaded question, I am not sure what pitch the prop is, and am not sure what all info you might need to answer that question. The motor is on a 24' pontoon, and all it will turn now is approx 4200 rpm's with the motor trimmed out, passengers seated to rear of boat (approx 600lbs). Is that about normal or should I be getting more?

Thanks in advance for the info.

5400 5600 @wot.You didn't say what pitch prop you have. You can probably go down say from a 19 to a 15 or even less.

Re: Rpm's

you can drop down on prop pitch - a lot, like 5 inches of pitch.

Trimming the motor won't have any effect on a pontoon, as it is not a planing hull. Better to trim down.
