115 four stroke gas in the oil

I have a 2005 yamaha 115 fou stroke on 19 ft deckboat. Engine has 140hrs.
I changed oil in spring and when I checked it after about 8 hrs of run time the dipstick smelt of gas and was a lot over full line. I drained oil and it looks like i have almost a quart of gas mixed in my oil. I changed oil again and ran about three hours this weekend and dip stick is just slightly higher than it was when i changed oil. Any ideas how gas is getting in my oil ????????

fuel pump diaphram,stuck open t stat or the biggest on toons, the engine isnt propped to be able to turn a minimum of 5700 RPM with the load THAT day.
start with the easy things,check the thermostat operation,check the mechanical pump for leaks, check the max RPM with the load your normally carrying.
