Hi,
Just determined, through this forum, what my engine is...thanks! Planning on hooking up the fuel system, any suggestions on what fittings I should use? I bought a primer bulb with 3/8" fuel line kit from west marine, but no fittings.
Thanks, Adam

When I got my boat it had the original force style fittings and I couldnt get it to stop leaking. I changed it to the 2 pin style and its been fine since.

Thanks, what size and brand? I'm really not familiar with rigging up an outboard (although I am handy).

They are all the same. you can get them at any marine store or even your local walmart.

Not all quite the same.
OEM fittings, hoses and bulbs are made of better materials, and to closer tolerances.

Also, the fittings for omc and Merc motors look similar, but are slightly different, and cannot be used interchangeably.

Also, the Merc tank end fitting is slightly different from the engine end fitting.
