Isn't she? LOL Gosh for a moment I thought I held the record for the longest time without a reponse to an open thread.

Maybe guys don't wake up feeling not so perfect, hating their hair or the way they look on any particular day, but its a common thing for women.

I think if we as adults try to start our day this way we would be all happier for it. there are always different ways to look at it.
when I realized my manifolds were gone about a week ago, I initially felt really upset, as I was planning a nice weekend run for my birthday this Sunday. Then I thought, how would I have felt if i was able to go out on Sunday and the manifold failed when i was running hard and destroyed an engine. different perspective. I decided to just get it fixed and think of my self as lucky.
Would u believe that probably about an hour after i start thinking like that, my best friend who has a birthday the day after mine, with whom i usually spend my birthday is coming home for the next weekend, which would be when i get my boat running. and i was planning to change manifolds soon anyhow.
thought process i believe has some connection to what happens to you in life

A small child dancing on top of a bathroom vanity is a dangerous activity. No helmet no knee, shin or elbow pads. A fall from that height is certainly as dangerous as a fall from a small bike. Seems to me the responsible adult could be charged with child endangerment. Its all a fun little song and dance until someone falls and breaks an arm.
