Installing PTT on a 1972 Merc 800

I'll be picking up a boat that has a 72 merc 800 with no PTT but I have a complete system off of a 79 1150 merc will this work on the 800?

As long as the PT&T is a Dual-Ram type of setup with the external pump, 2 oil lines per ram, it'll bolt right up to the 800.

Thanks for the reply! The setup I have is identical to the one you described.
Is there a wiring diagram on this site for this setup?
