Evinrude 3hp 1962 4032 Carb Question

Just recieved my carb rebuilt kit. In the kit is a little wire that I believe goes on the float needle. I didn't have one on my carb when I dissasembled and the parts list doesn't show it. Should I use it and does it clip on the float arm also?

Yep. Clip it on the float arm. It will pull the needle open when the float drops every time. Just a minor improvement over the years.
