I got my prop today from iboats....(excellent service I might add)

Looking at the manual, after the prop there is:
1. continuity washer
2. spline washer
3. tab washer
4. propeller nut

I did not have a continuity washer when I removed the propeller....do I need one?

I know what you are talking about...I have seen the same parts breakdown, and neither of my two boats had one. The newest boat (2005) has the Alpha Gen II drive, and came from the dealer sans any continuity washer. My best guess is that it isn't required anymore...?

The title of the part suggests some sort of corrosion protection, and I am not having any corrosion issues.

Thanks RR, my gut says the same thing. Beauty of the internet is I would feel better to have someone confirm this is ok.

Bumped into another problem though.... http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=385211

Yeah...been there, and done that!

I already posted my solution on your other thread...I used the Quicksilver trim tab for performance props. All the clearance in the world, and there is plenty of trim tab to offset steer torque.

Happy boating!
