What motor does this plug go to

Hi guys thanks for looking , I got this off of ebay he did show the plug just said it was a 6 pin , the wrong 6 pin for me , so I would like to know what it works for so I can get rid of it !! thanks John

ps I'm thinking its from the 50's or very early 60's it came with the old white throttle box

Molded plugs didn't come around until later. I'd bet it's a lot newer than you think. The part can fit many different applications so the best way to sell it is as a Merc 6 pin extension cable. I see them all the time on eBay that way.

It's a pre 1980 harness it may be battery or magneto so you need to get the part number off it and check, the number is molded into the inside of the plug.

looks like the one i have on my merc 50 hp its a 1973

Looks like the three I have and they work with my 1964 65HP, the 1968 65 HP, the 1972 115 HP and the 1975 150 HP I just sold. It does not work with the 1965 90 HP I have. Hope this helps. If you are looking to sell it PM me with a price, I can always use the extra parts.
