Spitzer Lakeside Marina - Lorain, Ohio

We are considering leasing a slip at Spitzer Lake side marina at Lorain harbor for our new Bayliner 242 Classic. I'm familiar with the waters there as we have launched our trailer boat for the last 3 seasons nearby and like the proximity to the Islands and Cleveland. We have visited number of marinas in the area and seem to like Spitzer Lakeside due to proximity to our house and accessibility to Lake Erie.

It's still early here and cannot find any boat owners to talk to. Is anyone here familiar with this marina?

It's a nice Marina. I primarily boat out of the Port Clinton/Sandusky area, several nice marinas in that area. I live in the Akron area so it's not too bad of a drive over. I however sold my boat and joined the Freedom Boat Club in Port Clinton, I think they are opening a location in Sandusky as well.
