What would be the gas/oil ratio be for this engine, and where might a person find a tiller handle assembly? Thanks.

50:1 and boats.net has every part you might need. Also I saw a tiller handle on Ebay last night. You might get it cheap.

It seems as this engine uses a surface gap plug (Champion QL78V) and I was wandering if anyone knows of a standard type plug that would be an equivalent. Thanks for the help and info so far :D

Any of the websites like NGK,Champion,ND,Bosch will have a cross reference chart.

My 79 Merc 7.5 had NGKs there was 2 options available one was $20 a pop and the other was $6 ,the cheaper were non RFI.

Thanks guys for the help, but what i'd like to have is an equivalent plug that has the gapping hook rather than the one the doesn't. Sorry for not being more clear in the other post, and thanks again for the help.:D

Could someone tell me what all pieces are missing from the tiller assembly and on the inside? Can't really tell by the diagrams that i've seen for it. Sorry for the not so clear pics, and thanks.
