After setting idle for 8months, I had the boat out and had problems keeping it running. As long as I kept the bulb primed it ran great. Without squeezing the bulb occassionaly, the engine would stall out. I do not see any leak in the fuel line or bulb.. I am thinking fuel filter problem from setting idle. Possibly water in gas from condensation from the tank.. Any suggestions?

more like fuel pump. you should be using a fuel/water separating filter with that motor anyway. also could be contaminated carbs.

Check the fuel pump output to begin with.
My initial 2 cents :)

Typically, an engine can run with a small amount of water in the fuel-it will just have no power when in gear. Follow the prior advice on the pump.
