4.3L Water pump impeller replacement

Got the water pump replacement kit yesterday.Put it in the boat today.Had some trouble getting the gear set just right but overall really smooth for never having done it before.Next time it will probably take me a third of the time.Just checked and rechecked as I went along to make sure I wasn't missing anything.Started her up on the muffs and she purred real nice.Ran it for about 25 min.Temp went up to 160 and stayed right there.

With your experinnce,+ knowledge,...
Your 5000 are probably as Valuable as My 26,000.... Maybe more so...

Is there a gasket between the lower and upper outdrive that needs to be replaced also?

You might want to start a new thread of your own teamrevo, then include the type of drive, year etc. Then maybe we can answer your question. All drives are NOT put together the same way.
