Replacing Starter??

i have a 84 Johnson 35 hp. i am replacing the starter this afternoon. really the only question that i have, is how to get the old starter off the bracket that holds it to the motor and put the new in the bracket?

any advice is much appreciated!!

remove the bracket, the then bolts from the bottom of starter, be careful, starter may come apart.

yeah, i'd almost count on the starter coming apart, which is no big deal if you are trashing the old one
