It has a Phelon magneto system, the best test is done with a mercotronic mag tester but you can also OHM test the windings. Max Amps 1.8-this test is only used with a mag tester and is max firing amperage, Primary winding-50 to 65 and secondary winding is 40 to 60 ohms
