Last year I purchased a Pontoon and completely restored all but the motor it appeared to be in great shape. Before I took it out for the first time I ran Sea- Foam through the fuel. When I put it on water I had to play with throtle and spray carb cleaner in it and it took off .Well anyways throgh out the summer it would start fine and would run great how ever a couple of times I would run it on the lake or river then shut it down for a little to fish and have to use cleaner again. My Question is how hard is it to clean out the carbuerator on this motor. The model# on this motor is TJ40ELETB.Any help would be GREAT!!!.. Thank you:

You should be able to handle it. Just remove them, disassemble, soak in carb cleaner, rinse blow out all passages.rebuild ,replace, be sure to clean your fuel system while carbs are off. check your gas for water or trash with a glass jar . Catch some fuel from the hose that hooks to the carbs to flush the whole system.
