I had an old Lowrance X-52 fishfinder doing nothing so I decided to turn it into a portable one for ice fishing etc. The spec page on it says the " power supply 10 -17 vDC " I wanted to use a Sea-Doo 12V rechargeable battery, Its spec says it is a 12V 12Ah.

My question is the Sea-Doo battery going to work? I hooked up my X-52 to my Aqua-View camera and it works on it's 12V battery.

Thanks, Dodger.

Re: Portable Fish Finder

I use my Eagle FF with 8- D batteries (1.5v x 8 = 12V).
I can get an entire summer out of 1 set.

Re: Portable Fish Finder

Thanks guys, someone told me I can get 2 6V Duracell's and hook them up. Problem is how would I wire 2 6V to get the 12V needed?
Thanks, Dodger.
