Whew..looks like the global warming crowd had some influence in that chart. 1 day in January or February with a low under 32...

Don't quite know what they were smoking, to stay warm, but we had two weeks this past winter...and I'm 35 miles South of there..

But that's OK, by the time we all get there in April, we will have some of the best weather of the year....

I am looking forward to this get together. Got to have something to look forward to. Last 2 days it did not get to 60. Shut up in the house and spending TOO much time at the tavern in the evening. Personal bottle of cognac at the bar is disappearing to fast, stayed home last night and watched the dog show.
NLAIN, your mention of bringing something from GA. reminds me of a story. Wife is from WVA. , we lived in N.J. and the neighbor insisted we bring back some moon when we went to visit. We went to a liquor store and bought a bottle of GEORGIA MOON, happen to have been distilled in BOSTON, brought it home and put it in a clean MASON jar. Neighbor cherished that jar for years. regards FRED

ohhh booooyyyy !!! i just read this thread!! i can make my wife happy
and my life will come back to a life on this deal !!!!!!!!!!!!
we come from indy in nov 09 and it has been terrible weather wise..
east texas that is-- in a 36 ft motor home and she is pisseddss offf
last 2 days have been good and now its going back cold again!!chit
i've got a sister that lives in the villages some where in central florida
and wanted to vistit them anyway!!! so i will book us us up a spot
if available----- dont believe she will be back to tx though!!!!!
i'll be back though!!!!!got a boat now!!!!!!!

the villages are 25 miles south of Ocala. it is funny, that it is a retirement community, but has the highest VD rate in the State. the camp site is about 45 miles due west and hours drive.

I'm highly considering joining this get-together. I'm only 3-4 hours South of the site. I know there's a March 1st deadline for reservations. I'll let you know within a couple of days if I can make it or not. Sounds like fun!
