Find an old 6 cylinder chevy motor, boat or car or pickup.
Chevy put alot of those 6 cylinders in 1960 and 70 pickups.

I needed a whole motor I put an on craigslist and had a great deal emailed to me the very next day. Post a want ad people have Chevy parts laying all over.

I did see a few cylinder heads on www.car-part.com but a bit further away, look up for an old Chevy about a 1974 C10 Pick-Up as the 250 went integral head in about 75, integral head has the intake and exhaust manifold built in, will not work.

the one head you do not want is from the 194 cid 6 cyl, they were used in some mid 60s cars, externaly they look identical to the 230-250 head but have a much smaller combustion chamber, this will boost the compression too high
