Is the Rotor cap sealed with Loctite? If yes what is the best way to remove it?

Thanks.

It shouldn't have loctite, let's put it that way. I have seen them froze on due to rust, and some just plain hard to get off.

Pull up really hard! Or break it off !CAREFULLY! with a chisel or some other tool like that. It's just stuck due to rust.

When you get it off, clean up the shaft a little before you put the next one on.

When I bought my rig w/ 3.0LX the cap and rotor were both stuck, the cap was not seated in the grove around the electrical contacts correctly and the rotor suffered the fate of that missalignment due to condensation from winter this of course was a est ignition. Just pop it up possible slide hammer with 2 jaw puller just lightly! GOOD LUCK

If possible, use of a heat gun can help. 'nutcase

Ayuh,... Channel-lock pliers,+ a slight Twist is about all it takes to shatter it....
