I noticed the other day milky-white majonaise like stuff laying around in the bottom cowling.
When I took a closer look I found that it came from the place where the oil used to go in to the engine from the autolube system. Where the hose from the oiltank used to be mounted.
It squirts out small amounts of this whity stuff when its running.

Is this a sign of something very wrong? Since the white color probably is water contaminating oil.

I dont like it and I hope someone out there has a good tip to what can be wrong.

Thank you for helping. Im grateful for all tips.

not sure what your asking.
if the oil pump was removed then it has to have a plate and a gasket to seal the hole in the block.

Its not removed. Its still there. It just no longer connected to the oil tank. I mix oil in the fuel.
I bought it like that.
Should the pump be removed?

Where does the wity stuff coming out of it come from?

Could it be a faulty "lower oil seal"?

Is the external oil tank still in the boat? If so, when you turn the key on, the oil pump attached to the oil tank may be pumping whatever is left in external tank to the engine area?

Thank you for your answer. (-:

There is no external tank on board.
The pump is not connected to the main oil tank. It hasent been for over two years. The white oil stuff comes out from where the main oil tank used to be connected to the pump.

Im extra worried because of the color, white. That would indicate water mixed with oil.

Im trying to understand where water could enter that system.

Some broken seal somewhere maybe?
