Show Your Pumpkins 2009

Just thought I'd post a few of the ones Diane & I have done.
She did the first 4, and I did the Scarecrow w/jack o lantern head.
These are all done on those foam pumkins you get at craft stores.
We auctioned them off at a charity event last night and raised over 300 bucks...
I'd love to see everybody's pumpkins, so post em when ya cut em!

Actually...

It's like a wood burning kit..or a soldering gun..BUT it has an exacto blade that heats up and cuts the foam pumpkins very smoothly..

I think it came from Joannes or AC Moore...Also used to cut vinyl and thin plastics easily...

Cool, thanks. I have wanted to try using foam, just haven't broken down and tried yet. Maybe this weekend. Wish me luck.

Winterizing or getting out of the way of some storm across the country!
At least my pumpkin guy is prepared....even has an orange "headlight" at night

I put these in another post, but I figured I'd share them here as well. Here are all three pumpkins I did this year together. I also put in the latest carving of my beagle Isabelle. I put a picture of her in there too so you can see the resemblance.
