Disabling Prime Start

The prime start appears to be running full time when the engine is started, even warm. I want to disable to prime start.

Yes, I understand that it would be better to fix it, but the boat is located in a 3rd world country where fixing it is not a quick option. So, until I can get it fixed, could someone suggest a way to disable the system.

Besides, the temperature here rarely, if ever drops below 80 degrees, so cold starting isn't usually an issue.

Turn the switch to closed and that should stop all fuel flow through the prime start system, but you need to make sure your charging system is functioning. that is what maybe furnishing the power to the heater unit ,depending on the motor. Check your manual.
