well...i sweet talked the store and they are letting me return the paint..no restock charge or any thing....and ordered the Interlux Brightsides Yellow and Primer

most of the interior has been planned to change to white with some subtle yellow accents....still haven't decided what to do with the floor yet, has i/o blue carpet in in for now

sanding and sanding.....and sanding and sanding......

well, i have the entire left side of the hull sanded (right side in the picture)

since it is suppose to rain today, i guess i'll sew a few more seats....

did a little more work on the seating tonight...they are not stapled yet...just getting all the sewing done...

the seats look great....that is very close to the seating arraingment that i will be using.

did you find the bell housing yet?,,,they are really expencive.....but if you find a "trailer for sale....comes with boat".....it might be worth the effort to get it

i think i have....going to buy my neighbors boat and trailer for $200
it's a 73 LArson 1700 Shark w/merc 120
i know i won't be using his upper and lower parts of the outdrive, but the bellhousing, gimble ring/housing and trim cylinders will fit (and are in much better condition than mine)

he actually has 2 of these boat, same years and colors....i'm going to pull the engine out of it, along with windows and some other pieces and give back to him for him to keep for spares

got 4 of the rear seat bases done...
still have to adjust the tension of the vinyl on a couple of them

nope...i'm a computer geek...work for a company called Appriss...who created and maintains the Victim Notification System (VINE) for all the jails and courts in 47 states... ( www.vinelink.com )
but thanks for the compliments on the seats.

going to work on the video on my how-to guide for seats tomorrow.
hope to get the first coats of primer on the hull later this week

looks pretty spanky...i just love the shape of the rays.....they just look like they can handle a hurricane

love the yellow and the checkered flag combination.

thanks, i have my neice drawing up the graphics on a transparency so i can project it onto the hull when ready...

had to take some meds for my back....not looking forward to laying on the ground trying to paint the bottom of the hull...

well...the first coat of primer is on....yeah, used just shy of 1/2 gallon!!!!

tomorrow's plan.....sand the first coat and apply the second the coat...
