does anyone know where I can buy a good used johnson 235hp outboard block. needs to fit 1984

Are you looking for a regular 235 block or the special 235S block? The basic 160 cubic inch big bore blocks were made between 1980 and 1991. They started out as 235's then became the 175 in 1986. The 235S blocks are rare and are hard to find.

There are a lot of the 2.6 175/235 blocks laying around as the sleeves where thin on these models. The 2.6 GT(S) is the "good block" with squared ports and scallop cut pistons from factory. If you need a ready to go block call MAR-FAB.
