9. your child will have a natural talent for cutting into things with a chain saw

8. your child will have a lot in common with george w's favorite saying after pushing...."the button".

7. if you hit the dock......your child can fix it.

6. the government will allready think they have audited him/her enough.

5. your child will hold the worlds record for drinking a beer while designing an automation system for a fortune 500 company while water skiing.

4. you child will be a natural born boat sander.

3. the next time "daddy" makes a programming mistake causing 3 weeks "re-coding".......you can hide it by saying you were calling your child.


2. if you drop the newborn child....your wife will just think you are "calming" the infant by saying its name.


1.....the kid will have great taste in beer.

I'm not too creative with baby names, but when my wife ran Shelby by me I said we have a winner (little did she know about the car reference, Shelby Mustang, Carol Shelby, Etc)

Even though I'm not too sharp with baby names I'd have to veto the name oops! Kids can be cruel and can you imagine the kids nickname in school... Poops!

I would have 9 of them running around with the same name...

Thanks for all the great name ideas! Good thing that we already named him Nathan before I saw these or the poor little guy would have been known as "ASPECKOFOOPS" That would have people really wondering if he ever grew a pony tail

Thanks for the PM to this one Oops or I might have missed it....we have been a little busy over the last week!

The baby was born on Sept 01 and he was a very healthy 9lbs, 3oz.

Momma is doing ok and I am trying to make life as easy for her as possible. So far one of the best things that we have gotten is a tv table so that mom can sit on the soft couch and have a bite to eat while feeding the little guy. The other kids are pretty jealous of that as there is a no food in the living room rule!
