i have boat with a 115 6cyl mercury outboard dont know the year i think its a 83 it starts,runs and idles fine but when i go and put it in gear it seems like its missing or choke stuck? and wont go over 2000rpm just bought the boat so i have no clue where to start i changed the plugs and put like 15 bucks of gas/oil in it thats about it can anyone tell me what to do where to start the boat was a repo so it could have sat for a while no clue thank you for your help
