outboard Service manual slection

[old boat 54]

What would be the best service manual : The original factory manual or the Seloc ? Maybe these are one in the same, but from the sales page, it appears that there are two options.

#1. Original Factory by far the best.
#2. Seloc but a distant second.
#3. Clymer but third by a lifetime almost.

Just my opinion.

What motor? Factory manuals are best...followed by Seloc (sometimes). Only owned one Clymers...tossed it.

those who buy seloc and clyner usually end up buying OEM, save the money and buy OEM.
