OMC outboard

Waste of money? Its a 100hp not sure on the year... runs well now but I just want some opinions on what every here thinks. Will this engine be hard to service and find parts for??

Can you post a pic of it? Any model number on the transom bracket?
Basically its the same as a Johnson or Evinrude,just depends on how old it is..

to be more specific the Johnson & Evinrude forum. You'll get all the advice you'll need there. Find the model number which should be on a plate on the transom bracket but may also be on a core plug on the engine and it will be easy to identify the year.

Availability of part depends on year but many are available going back for many years.

The first 100hp came out in 1966, that is why we have to know which one you are talking about.
