Service Manuals??

I recently purchased a 1968 18hp evinrude fastwin. It was running good for a while and then I started having problems. I have another post and people have given me some tips but I am so ignorant I dont know what they are talking about. I was looking into getting a service manual. Just wondering if one is better than another. I was looking at a seloc for like $25. Is this a good price and where should I be looking online for the best price. The one I was looking for was for engines from like 1950-1970. Is there one specifically for my motor?

You might check with your local library to see what they have to offer. Mine had a Clymer's manual that I used to get my motor running smooth again. And the best part: it's free!
