Mercruiser 165 Front Main Seal Leaking...

I have a leak from the front of my engine, I believe it's from the front main seal, although I haven't fully investigated... I have to remove the rear seat to get a good look at it.

Just wondering if it's possible that an improperly aligned outdrive could have an impact on this leak?

Thanks!

Cool thanks bruce...

I had just done some work to the outdrive and had it removed. Before I replaced the seal I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have the same avoidable problem again...

Tool looks slick...

I just used that tool removing the main seal and cam seals from my Lexus. Works awesome when you are removing a seal that is still around its shaft.
