I have a 90hp 1990 Force outboard. Just purchased and new again to the outboard world. How do I mix the gas and oil? Do I just both directly into the tank? There is a mixing bottle in the boat; is that what I use instead?

Thanks

Hi there, just add oil to your fuel tank at a ratio of 1 part oil to 50 parts fuel .

I fill up with a 5 gal container. Dump oil into gas can (1:50), shake it up and pour into the boat.

At any one of your local marinas they have plastic containers that tell you exactly how much oil to put in. Dump the oil directly into the tank first then gas and you're good to go. 50:1

2.6 ounces of oil per gallon of gas.

Use TC-W3 2 cycle oil, any brand, petroleum based or synthetic.

Re: Oil and Gas mix

Thanks for the help...this a cool site. Hopefully I can gain enough knowledge to re-pay the favors someday.

I would feel a lot better if I could just get the thing started. Having serious buyers remorse currently.....
