Help With Fuel leak

I just uncovered the boat and started it and noticed gas was dripping from the inlet to the carb, i circled in green where it is leaking from is where the brass meets the black , does the brass piece come off or just the threaded end. and what would be the problem. thanks

Ayuh,.... That brass piece screws in,+ is sealed with a fiber washer...

Use 2 wrenches to remove the gas line, then snug up the brass adapter,+ See if it stops leaking...
Otherwise, take it apart,+ replace the gasket washer...

thanks bondo, should the brass piece come out easy or should a spay it down whith liquid wrench, it did'nt leak at all last summer, so you think the gasket inside could have went bad. also is there a filter inside the brass piece if so sould i need to go ahead and replace it?

It's probably not much more than finger tight now,...
But, you'll need 2 wrenches to break the fuel Line free from it 1st...
Spraying don't really work on those kinda fittings..
also is there a filter inside the brass piece if so sould i need to go ahead and replace it?
Some Do, some Don't,... Ya gotta Look...
If there's 1 in it, the gasket will come with the new filter, or it Should...
