79 90HP trim whining

I have a 1979 90 HP V4 Johnson motor that the trim motor works on but make an aweful whine when being used. Any ideas or shop drawings on how to check resevior. Not very mechanical but don't really want to take it to the shop. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link but 90 hp not shown to have been made in 78,79,or 80. Wonder what I will do now?
