Tire wear

I have a Yacht Club single axle trailer that I haul a 16 foot aluminum boat with a full interior and 70 hp merc. I am having a problem with the tires wearing on the inside of each of the tires. The axle seems to be straight with the trailer and it trails ok. Could it be possible that my axle is flexing? What could be causing this?

Sounds like a toe out condition.

Not right now. I noticed it when I was repainting it at a friends and it is still there. And the boat is off it right now as well, so hard to tell if it is flexing until I get the boat back on it.

Is it really bad? If the bearings are badly out of adjustment this might contribute to the problem.

If the axle has taken a ding on the back side (when backing up into something) this might cause toe out.

Overloaded axles will wear the inside edges of the tires also..
