How fast should the boat be running for wakeboarding? My kids have been talking about trying it out this year but the toon tops out around 26mph. In my mind I was thinking 15-20mph but I am not sure.

Re: Speed ??

So if my toon runs 26 we should have plenty of speed to have a little fun. Not much of a wake but even with 10 people aboard I can still get 24 mph

Yeah, most beginners ride around 17-19.
Most pro riders are at about 24-26 (on glass).
So, you should not have a problem enjoying it.

Good to know. Tubing gets a little boring at 26mph LOL and the 25' Pontoon does not really turn fast enough to sling a tube so at least the wake board will allow the rider to have a little fun. :)

That is also plenty fast for kneeboarding, airchairing or even kids on two skiis. would be fine at or below 26 mph.
