Ok, so heres the thing, I have an 87 Ranger, I bought it used an the previous owner had the hot foot installed. The previous owner was also about 5'7, and i am 5'11, and my father is around 6'1.. So my question is, is it possible to move the hot foot back to make it more comfortable while driving. Also if it is possible to do, how hard would it be to move it back..

thanks in advance..

Re: Moving Hot Foot..

Shouldn't be hard at all.

Usually there is a small piece of wood stuck to the hull that the pedal is mounted to.

Just unscrew it, fill the hole and make new ones.

Bob's machine makes a adjustable plate that allows you to quickly change the position of the pedal to fit different people, you might want to check it out.

A pic wold help if your still unsure.

When I moved mine, it was only 4 screws that were screwed right into the floor. I had to move mine up a bit. Good luck.
