I totally agree with the first part of what Ted said. The second part is tricky. When yours or a loved one's very life is at stake, sometimes taking a life is the only option. Some situations, though very bad, do not require taking a life to resolve. I'll just say that you have to be prepared to deal with the consequences of taking someone else's life and leave it at that.
