I confused the leads coming out of the power pack to the coils; they are of the same color, but one of them has a stripe alongside, which should be for the upper and which for the lower cyllinder coil.
What is the average idle speed of the motor (RPM) on the tach in gear.
What is the gear ratio of the lower unit.

I need a catalog for wiring, and to set the idle; couldn't I do without a catalog by simply asking someone who knew the answer?

The leads are orange, the stripes along one lead blue, and across the other lead short and black, at left hand side coils the black stripes in lower cyllinder coil, on at right hand side they are connected the opposite way.

The orange lead with the blue stripe is for the upper cylinder (blue - sky - up) and the all orange lead is for the lower cylinder.

The idle rpm in gear, in the water, is 650-700. Out of the water it'll be a tad higher. The lower it is the better it'll shift out of gear.

Thanks left and right the same I guess. I am eager to test run and experience the max velocity, dreaming of 52 Nautic miles, to be faster than boarder police craft.
